A New Way of Looking at Things

A New Way of Looking at Things

“One’s destination is never a place, but rather a new way of looking at things.”

– Henry Miller in Big Sur and the Oranges of Hieronymus Bosch (1957)

At Shibuya Crossing in Tokyo, Japan – rumored to be the busiest intersection in the world (and definitely in Japan)

Are you there? I wouldn’t be surprised! Lol
I lived in Tokyo as a child. I remember their pace of life. I’m so glad I was able to see life out of the USA.

We were there earlier this year as part of a work trip to Hong Kong and I took that picture then – we added on a week of vacation in Tokyo after the work meeting (and a few days to explore Hong Kong), and are SO glad we did. It was amazing. We fell in love with both cities and can’t wait to get back there again someday. We love traveling the US by RV, but are glad we took the opportunity to settle down part of the time now, to have a better home base from which to travel outside the US too. 🙂

Hey! Hope you guys are doing well! Sorry we were so out of touch this year. It was a crazy year for us! We’re back in Springfield for a few months and we’d love to see you guys! I wasn’t sure if your number was the same, but let me know if you guys want to get together! Happy holidays too!

I love it when you leave a reply!
